A futuristic girl doing parkour, with the benefit of a grav pack, giving her a relative zero gee to the planet she's on - allowing her massive stunts.
While its not obvious here of course, this is just the start point of a new piece, in which she's doing parkour across the skyscrapers of a arcology/city and is backflipping several hundred feet above the streets.
I'll be compositing her in with some of her parkour buddies - a droyne and a couple of robots.
A light hearted piece, which is why its in a semi cartoon style. More to come!
This is a particularly effective piece, Bryan. Easy to imagine the action that is suggested here. Yes...I see the pretty girl...nice athletic form...etc. But I'm most impressed by...her feet. No..I don't have a foot fetish...or a shoe fetish. You simply did a GREAT job on the the anatomical angling of the feet! NOT an easy thing. If I have one minor negative to express it would be that your faces all seem to be the same. Almost formulaic. But that is easily chalked up to your own personal style and doesn't detract from the overall success of this piece. Kudos!
this is entirely true, but in this context I think its appropriate, as in the finished pic the traceurs being depicted will all be doing their tricks 200 stories up.
Great piece, I agree with all of Mike's (caesar20) critique... but I know parkourists would have a fit if they saw someone using a machine to improve their feats. As far as I know, parkour is all about bettering oneself's abilities, and pushing your body to the max.
