A low tech but stupidly rugged ATV, a civilian model that's less exploration and more general purpose. Generous cargo space, fully sealed interior and tracks that are wide for low ground pressure means the vehicle will go anyplace it won't actually sink ( asking it to float is a bit much, I think) and easy to maintain. Perfect for Travellers who want rugged on the cheap!

I can see the uses for civilian scout/exploration teams. Also for mobile homes. As for floating in water, the Marines AMTRAC, LLPV-7 does it. So does other track vehicles. And if it's power source allows it. It could be hermetically sealed and drive underwater.

Um..actually tracked vehicles have a problem with certain slope angles, I do believe...
Am unsure of the specifics, though.

Very much cheers to you and yours.

Hey! The Galactica (original series) Landrams had a top twin laser cannon! This is a good one, though. The originals were made by Thiokol, later Morton-Thiokol of Challenger infamy.
