One of my more mercenary pieces, done as a basis for a print when I was working conventions in the late 80s. See, while I hate this sort of "cutesy fan" art ( yeah, like unipegs, flapcats and all the other saccharine things you see on the racks in the art shows) I also realized that if you had any of a variety of fan fave subjects people would invariably pay money for it. And if you had a cat in it, you could sell practically anything, always.
So, here's one of my shameful examples of mercenary whoring to the fan tastes, on the grounds it made me money. Artistic integrity? pah! Gimmeh da five bux!
