Because in many ways the similarities between the characters are eerily alike - I'm convinced Joss was thinking Sushi when he made the Kaylee character, although Sushi was always the perennial stereotype staple of almost any campaign, the cute wrench wench - I did this piece , ostensibly of Jewel Staite as Sushi.
Maybe Kaylee and Sushi are long lost sisters!
